BCBG Max Azria fall 2013 RTW

Inspired by Istanbul and Phil Frost's gritty contemporary art, BCBG collection explores simple, silk layered garment shapes capturing an effortless/street style with a modern twist. A Variation of small repeat and large scale prints are exposed across the surface of the garments created by digital print. The prints themselves give direction through the placement and change in movement and scale, adding structure across simple garment shapes. A technique in which could be used through out my own final major project in order to allow textile to be the main focuses of the collection.
This collection has been a big influence on the direction of my collection, through showing how textiles can be used to highlight shape without over complicating the construction.

Love the leather ankle trousers, a simple way to add layers.

love the casual aspect to this outfit, colliding leather with knit wear
